Nataly was bored one day and came across an ad about how a married couple had met on Hinge. On a whim, she thought, “I’ll download it to see if that could be me.” After carefully adjusting her filters — Catholic, Mexican, and a minimum height of 6 feet tall — Andrew was pretty much her only option.

Their first date began with Nataly bravely getting into the car at 8:00 PM with a boy she had never met before, who promised her dinner. Afterward, they went for a walk in the park and grabbed coffee. Somewhere between the conversation and the caffeine, Andrew realized two things: he really liked Nataly… and that he would probably never love anything as much as she loves coffee. He accepted this early.

More dates followed — running, climbing, walking, and just about any activity that let them spend time together. They slowly got to know one another, met each other’s families, and before they knew it, “dating” turned into something much more serious. They talked often about faith, family, and what they hoped for in a partner — discovering that what they were looking for had been right in front of them all along.

And now, after all the coffee dates, conversations, and adventures…
